Dr. Marina Cuchel | CureTalks

Dr. Marina Cuchel is a Research Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She's a member of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics, and a Physician-Scientist in the University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board. She is also the Associate Program Director and Co-Director of Clinical Trials Fellowship at ITMAT Education. Dr. Cuchel focuses on lipid metabolism mechanisms, both in animal models and human monogenic disorders. Her interests extend to developing therapies for rare genetic lipid disorders and enhancing reverse cholesterol transport. She completed MD (Medicine), Specialist degree in Geriatric Medicine and PhD (Pathophysiology Of Aging) from Universita' Degli Studi Di Milano, along with an MS (Translational Research) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
